LOUD Festival 闹哄哄演唱会 (7th October 2011) October 17, 2011

Filed under: Uncategorized — caramelcheesecake @ 12:18 am

WOOHOO! JAY CHOU!!

Actually until now, i still don’t know if this was an impulse purchase, since jay chou only appear for like 30-45 minutes and sang only 6-7 songs?

Okay, but i still gotta admit i was really happy to see him, and feel the concert atmosphere! I really really really hope to go to his concert at Taipei one day… arrr.. was almost SO CLOSE to want to go for his concert in kaoshiung this December… but i guess, the high air tix price really puts me off.. so well, i shall wait for his next concert in TAIPEI. ++++ I really can’t wait for his album release in Nov!

Cityview hotel is just next to Yau Ma Tei MTR, and walkable distance from mongkok!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Laoban’s tau huay’s idea was from the famous milk pudding dessert in hongkong.

looking at this pic, makes me feel like tabaoing from Jurong Point’s Ji De Chi

Anyway, here’s our last dim sum lunch at hongkong :(

Our luggage weight.

Mine increased from 8kg to 15.8kg = 7.8kg

My boy’s increased from 9.5kg to 17.1kg = 7.6kg
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Anyway, starbucks in hongkong is cheaper than sg by like $1Photobucketi really like the scallop hem at the bottom of my dress!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Dinner on the plane!
They served haagen dazs ice-cream! actually they served it on our trip there.. just that i was too tired to eatPhotobucket

Photobucketi love this shot!
Photobucket
byebye hongkong, i’m sure i’ll be back soon!

did some calculation to see how much i’ve spent (all has been converted to SGD)

Air tickets = $352 per pax

Hotel = $483 for 5D4N for 2 pax (3 nights in Deluxe room + 1 night in Premier room but they FOC upgrade us to Excutive room for 4 nights)

Transport = $28 per pax

Food = $115 per pax

Shopping = $276 (Out of which, close to $100 i spent on masks!!!)

Souveniers / Gifts for others = $50

Total spending for this trip (including air tix + accomodation) = $1,062.50!

Total spending for this trip (exclude air tix + accomodation) = $469

I think i’m really quite standard… all my trips so far i spent about $100 per day! but i’m really not a good gauge cos’ i dun really shop..So yup, here’s my loots!! don’t be excited cos’ nothing much… haha
Photobucket
Birks = $70

Cle De Peau Makeup Base = $87

Kate spade iphone case = $4.80

Belts = $2.40 each

Safety shorts = $3 each

And here’s all the masks that i’ve bought! Bought from colourmix and bonjourPhotobucket
My beauty mask – black pearl (favourite) + Q10 (raved online) + Mixed Berries + Strawberry Yoghurt

My scheming mask – Bird’s Nest Collagen Mask

Dainty Design – All-in-one Collagen Mask

Love More Mask – Australia Mask(i’ve got really hard time finding Love More masks in hongkong.. and when i see them, i just grabbed the leftover 2 boxes rightaway! Found at bonjour)

Now, my boy’s turn:
Photobucket

Prada bag = $610

Timberland shoe = $220

H&M jeans = about $45 each x 2

Polo Ralph polotee = $60 each x 2

Clinique & longchamp = for his sis

Random, i bought this hello kitty soft toy bag for my baby niece. So cute!
Photobucket

Photobucket
So here’s her carrying it. hehe

the queueing part might totally ruin ur plan of dining there

U will have to take a queue number first and then expected to go loiter around for like 2 hours before coming back.

We went there on monday morning… and needs to wait like 2 hours. So u can imagine going there on weekends. They will issue u their menu with ur queue number on the menu

PhotobucketPhotobucket
not hot leh, but still nice!shopping!!! i’m really not a shopping person…

was contemplating whether to buy birks at hong kong cos’ my feet really hurts with the covered shoes + hong kong is really cheap for its birks!!!

My colleague just told me its the same price as the manufacturing country (sorry forgot which country).

After u done some conversion, the price is actually abt the same at footshopping or slightly cheaper @ hong kong.

The reason why i contemplated for some time whether to buy birks was because i’ve already owned 4 birks at home!

i bought them like during my uni days… cos’ they were really comfy and can last u for a long long time!

So anyway, i also couldn’t decide if i want the black polka dots, or the red polka dots.:S

Both are nice actually…. argh

But i’m still kinda glad i finally decided on the red polka dots.

It was actually OOS and they have to transfer the birks from another outlet…Its about SG$70 nett anyway :)

I LOVE MY NEW RED POLKA DOTS BIRKS!!

have been wearing it pretty regularly even after i’m back in SG !

Think i probably should bring one of my birks and put in my office too… cos’ my colleagues commented that my mphosis slippers got no more sole. its like as if u are stepping ur foot bare on the ground.

Sorry to bore u, but the below photos are all about FOOD!

I took damn little photos for this trip i realize.. too tired i guess. + i’m old already

OH YAH, my birks are bought at Tsim Sha Tsui, harbour city :)

So okay, when u are at TST, u probably have to land ur break time here: The Sweet Dynasty (:

A surprise 5D4N (26th Aug – 30th Aug) birthday trip that i’ve planned for the birthday boy.

It was really tough keeping a secret for 2 months and having to remind my close frens ard me not to bicha lobang the surprise for the boy.

the toughest has got to be my DADDY..! lol

Only told the boy that i’m bringing him overseas 1 week before the trip, but not revealing the destination! so that he can start to pack the luggage. I kept telling him we are traveling via coach, but he will need to bring those big luggage cos’ i need to carry some things back from that mystery place… what a lousy reason but i really can’t think of any!

The surprise destination was to be kept till we reached the airport, and during check-in… TA-DAH!

but my surprise bicha lobang about 10 mins before we reached the airport because Cathay sent him a notification SMS about the flight.

*diao*

Anyway, really thanks to all my frens who co-operated!! and my laoban who suggested such brilliant surprise trip idea to me!

PhotobucketPhotobucket

All set and ready to move off!

Photobucket

Our initial luggage weight.

Mine – 8kg

Boy – 9.5kg

My tix price was $342 nett per pax!

Crowded…. thanks to the good deal tickets!

Actually we reached at about 5.05am… zzzzzz

Photobucket

Photobucket

Waiting for the sales of train tickets to start operating its business!

Photobucket

On A21 bus…

Photobucket

We had 3-4 hours of powernap before we moved on for some shopping!

Photobucket

First stop – City Gate @ Tung Chung MTR

(Outlets shopping mall)

Photobucket

Polo ralph was having some sales and was really cheap.

$60 for a guy’s polo tee!

Photobucket

Next stop – Elements Shopping Mall @ Kowloon

A pretty new shopping mall with all the high-end / mid-end brands like H&M, Longchamp, etc. etc.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Didn’t really shop here except to get a longchamp bag for my colleague.

At least one commitment down, and he will have more time for his work and school!
